My philosophy of wellness is nontraditional. I’m drawn to the ways our energy, surroundings, relationships, and daily rhythms affect how we feel and how we function. I believe traditional and alternative approaches can work alongside one another, and that healing may have many branches.
For me, those branches include things like water therapy, movement, meditation, time outdoors, and meaningful connection with other people. Working in a garden can bring us back into the present moment. Cooking can become a form of meditation. Time with animals may offer comfort and ease anxiety, while working in the community can restore connection, confidence, and a sense of purpose.
I have spent more than twenty years gardening and working with small growing spaces. That experience has taught me to pay attention, remain curious, and respect that living things do not all grow in the same way or on the same schedule. Sometimes progress is carefully planned, and sometimes it comes from noticing what is already trying to take root.
I bring that same curiosity to Almond Tree Wellness, along with practical thinking, honest conversation, lived experience, and a willingness to explore what genuinely helps. I take the work seriously, but I also believe there should be room for creativity and individuality.
